Sweet little bundle

I love these pictures! Titus had his check-up today and he is doing great. He weighs 7 lbs 6 oz. so he is 2 oz. more than his birth weight. He is obviously doing well with eating which is a huge relief. So far he just sleeps and eats...every now and then he'll look around at us for a while. He is a sweet baby!

Titus is here!

Titus James Huey was born at 12:43am on August 19th. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. and was 19 1/2 in. long. He has been a great baby so far. We are enjoying him so much!

We are almost there!

Well, I made it to 39 weeks. I was really hoping to be holding Titus in my arms at this point but God has another plan. I went to the doctor this morning and I am now at 4 cm and 90% effaced. Titus is at -1. You would think he could just fall out of there but no. I am not really contracting any today. I have some days where I contract a lot but it is very random and far apart. Titus will be here soon though. Woo Hoo!

38 Weeks Doctor Update

I went to the doctor this morning and I am 3+ cm (which is a little more than 3 but not 3 1/2, maybe???) and I am still 80% effaced. The baby is at -1. Everything is moving right along. Here is a picture of my sweet boys kissing Titus...their faces are basically smashed against my belly! I can't wait for them to kiss Titus for real.

38 weeks

This is probably our last family of four picture. I am 38 weeks and feeling quite large in this picture. Hopefully, Titus will come soon. I go back to the doctor tomorrow morning so I will let you know the progress update then.

37 weeks

Just a quick update: I am now 2 cm dilated and still at 80% effaced. The doctor said Titus is very low, which explains the hip pain I have been having. We are just hanging in there and waiting for him to come when he is ready!

Baby Titus Update

I went to the doctor today for my 36 week check up. He examined me for the first time, and I am between 1 and 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I usually dilate early so I don't expect Titus to come tonight or anything, but I am excited I had some progression. Here is a picture of me at 36 weeks.

We had some friends over today to play and celebrate Palmer's birthday. This is all 6 boys-Colby, Walker, Palmer, Eli, Bryant, and Harrison! What's funny is that each set of brothers has another brother on the way (Titus and Spencer) or has had one just arrive (Colin). Soon there will be 9 boys on the couch! Wow!

Harrison put on every dress-up clothes item he owns. So fun!

Chick-fil-A had a special "dress up like a cow" day where you could get free food if you dressed up, so Jeff created two little cow costumes for the boys. They are saying "Moo!!!"


Jeff's birthday was July 12th. We celebrated by having our Life Group over for cake and ice cream.

Special Delivery

We received a package in the mail today from one of our friends. It was a present for the new baby, which by the way, we have decided to name him Titus. Anyway, the boys LOVE getting packages in the mail!!! They helped me open it and found some really cool muslin wraps which can be used as a swaddling blanket, sheet, burp cloth, etc. The boys wanted to use them so I wrapped them up in them and this is what it looked like. Very funny to see 25-35 lb. children swaddled!

Pregnant Friends

We have so many babies being born at our church. Here are a few of the girls expecting.
Katy just had Baby Colin 2 weeks ago, Susanne is almost 40 weeks, I am 32 weeks, Lindsey R. is around 17 weeks, and Lindsey M. is around 15 weeks.

Disney World

BREAKFAST WITH THE CHARACTERS
This was one of my favorite things we did for the kids. It was so much fun to see their expressions as the characters came up to our table.


This is most of our crew. Rhyne (Jeff's older brother), Cameron, Tonya, Brett (Jeff's younger brother), Palmer, me, Harrison, and Jeff.

MAGIC KINGDOM
This isn't the best picture of us but I had to put it on here since it has the castle in the background. I think we were pretty tired at this point of the day.

We enjoyed some yummy ice cream to help us cool off.

Our resort had a little lake where Harrison and Jeff rode a jet ski. It was Harrison's first time and he seemed to really enjoy it!

ANIMAL KINGDOM
We saw so many awesome animals in Animal Kingdom. This is a picture of Palmer's hand compared to the size of a gorilla's hand. Pretty crazy!

Animal Kingdom had a Dinoland area where the boys were able to play in "the boneyard." It was basically a playground. This is them climbing on the dino bones.

EPCOT
Jeff and I were able to go to Epcot without the kids which was nice. We rode a few rides and ate dinner in China. Yum!

Car Wash, Brotherly Love, and School Party

The boys helped Jeff wash the car today and this is what it looked like.

Harrison was resting on the couch and Palmer came and laid right on top of him. He was trying to give him hugs. It was very sweet!



Then Harrison wanted to do the same thing and lay on top of Palmer.


Harrison's end of the year party at school-He has a blast being in Mother's Day Out for the first time.
